2020 CentrOparc
Completion of the second phase of the CentrOparc corporate centre, located in Mascouche. Desjardins and St-Hubert decide to locate there.
2020 495 Beaumont
MONTONI enters the residential market with the launch of 495 Beaumont, a rental building located in the Parc-Extension district.
2020 Acquisition of the Molson Brewery property on Notre-Dame East in Montreal.
Acquisition of the Molson Brewery property, over 1.2 million square feet of land in downtown Montréal, in partnership with Groupe Sélection and the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ. The consortium plans to revitalize the industrial site and blend it within the current urban development context, while showcasing its unique heritage.

2019 Espace Montmorency
Official inauguration of the Espace Montmorency project in partnership with Groupe Sélection and the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ. Espace Montmorency is a $450-million multifunctional development located over Montmorency métro station in Laval.

2017 Prix Magazine Immobilier
MONTONI wins an INOVA Award from the Urban Development Institute of Québec, in the “Integrated, Industrial and R&D Building” category for construction of Lumenpulse Group’s head office.

MONTONI receives a Leader in Sustainable Transportation Award from MOBA (alternative mobility) for reducing the environmental impact of the Ericsson head office campus. The company also wins another INOVA Award from the Urban Development Institute of Québec, this time in the “Commercial–Construction Costs Greater Than $50 Million” category, for that same project.

MONTONI celebrates its 20th anniversary, now with more than 100 employees, a portfolio of over 400 industrial, institutional and commercial construction projects, including 30 corporate centres, and 15 million square feet under development.

2014 terrain à Ville Saint-Laurent
Acquisition of land in Saint-Laurent for the construction of a new corporate campus that will serve as the Canadian head office for Ericsson. With more than 1,700 employees, this facility is one of Ericsson’s largest outside Sweden.

Official opening of three LEED®-certified office towers on Highway 15 in Laval: Complexe Jules-Brillant (86,070 square feet), Complexe Louis-R.-Renaud (103,300 square feet) and Complexe Maurice-Gauvin (86,070 square feet).

Construction of the first of eight buildings following the acquisition of 2.5 million square feet in the Faubourg Boisbriand development. This project contributes to the revitalization of the neighbourhood, which had suffered from the closing of the General Motors plant a few years earlier.

MONTONI is awarded its first LEED® Gold certification for the Logistik Unicorp building, constructed in 2006.

Construction of Canada’s first industrial park consisting entirely of LEED®-certified buildings. Totalling 720,728 square feet, Centre Corporatif Saint-Laurent showcases MONTONI’s ongoing commitment to sustainable development.

Completion of Centre Corporatif Terrebonne, a 4-million-square-foot industrial complex that houses, among other facilities, the RONA distribution centre.

MONTONI creates its Excavation division to accelerate the construction process for its projects and ensure that its clients’ timelines are respected.

Completion of MONTONI’s first industrial development project in Laval: Phase 1 of Centre Corporatif Laval. This project comprises 14 new buildings totalling more than 2.5 million square feet and is completed in three years. Its success earns MONTONI contracts for the subsequent 10 phases.

Dario Montoni, then a 25-year-old engineer, sees an opportunity in the construction industry. He founds Groupe Montoni (1995) Division Construction Inc., a firm that stands out for its client-focused approach and immediately gains a reputation in the market.
